Dear collegues,
Currently I am studying the contents of two late Bronze Age
cremation urns from Borger (the Netherlands). Both urns contain
cremated animal bone, in both cases (a single) dog. Cremated
human remains seem to be absent. One cremation urn also has a
cremated button from a sheep radius, the other fragments of a
bronze bracelet and a bronze needle, both uncremated.
Does anybody know other examples of late Bronze Age cremation
urns for animals, more specific, dogs?
Yours, Wietske
