Hi Sarah
How about a database of spreadsheets which contain the
data? For each s/sheet a brief summary of who produced it,
when, in what context, key findings revealed by the data, a
hyperlink to the s/sheet for downloading etc.
Then you're at least heading into knowledgement
management.
I vaguely recall the following from an article
that I read recently :
A collection of data is not information.
A collection of information is not knowledge.
A collection of knowledge is not wisdom.
A collection of wisdom is not truth.
This will have to serve as my Friday afternoon musing,
since I'm not in tomorrow!
Regards
Maurice

My feeling is that pages of numbers are not usable and that the data should be held in a database and pulled out when the database is queried. Does anyone have any advice, opinions, experience, etc, that could help me get my head around this particular issue?
