At City of Sunderland College we began using Blackboard in January 2001 and
had students registered for AS/A2 courses in Psychology (300), English
language (250), Maths (250) and Biology (150). We have purchased the
Blackboard licence and are currently rolling it to all faculties in the
college. Initial training etc was organised in June with follow up in
September. A report of our experience ( to June 2001) is available on the
Ferl website under case studies. Much has happened since these were
completed and I am currently pulling another report/case study together
which I intend to submit to Ferl.
