Workshop on Agents in Traffic and Transportation

A workshop on the application of agent technologies in traffic and
transportation systems will be held on 5 October, 2001, following
the 8th World Congress on Intelligent Transport Systems.
The aim of the workshop is to establish a forum on the use of
distributed artificial intelligence, agent technology, simulation,
object-oriented software development and integration in advanced
traffic and transport systems. Research papers and case studies
relating to the design, implementation and use of intelligent agents
for particular applications in traffic and transportation will be
presented.
Who Should Attend?
This workshop is relevant to traffic systems developers,
researchers and practitioners in the ITS field. Participants from
research organisation; traffic and transport systems development
firms; and road and transport authorities will also find this workshop
useful and relevant.
