The comp.sys.next archives have only old discussions about OpenStep for Virtual
PC on Macs. Does anyone have experience on Virtual PC for Windows? As far as I
can see, there are some rather unclear points:
o There appears to be no SCSI support.
o It appears that a CD-ROM is presented as an IDE device rather than a
SCSI device. I don't think this will work with OpenStep.
o Information on audio emulation is vague. I presume I can have only a
System Beep.
o Video is emulated as a 4MB S3 card. Will this allow 1280 * 1024 * 16 bit
colour?
o An Ethernet card is emulated, but is it compatible with any OpenStep driver?
Thanks, Ken Turner
