For some reason I do not understand, I seem to be unable of sending this
to the seda-list. Could it be forwarded on my behalf please?
many thanks,
Gwen van der Velden
Dear Colleagues,
Festive greetings to all of you!
I would like to invite colleagues in the South East, to let me know
whether they would be interested in being kept up to date on the
establishment of a SEDA South East network.
Co-organiser Neil Thew from Sussex, and I would like to suggest a first
meeting for either the week beginning 18 February, or the week of March
4.
That first meeting will concentrate on the possibilities and benefits of
having such a network.
There will be opportunity for introducing ourselves to each other, some
networking and an exchange of information on what is on the agenda
nationally, concerning funding, new developments and of course anything
anyone wishes to let others know about.
The main topic will be the discussion about the role and function of the
South East network. Obviously that will link to practicalities: how
often will we meet and who else should be invited?
It is my understanding that there is already a SEDA network in London,
and so this network is aimed at those outside London. Anyone with an
interest in Educational and Staff Development is welcome, assuming you
are a SEDA member, or your institution is a SEDA member.
If you wish to join, please send me your name, job title and (e-)mail
address so that I can make sure you get an invitation once the date and
venue are set. (venue offers welcome...)
With warm winterwishes,
