I agree with Joanne this presumes too much. I have read JVK, Tracy Ryan,
Alison Croggon, Andrew Burke, Glen Phillips, Frances Sbrocchi, Les Murray,
Anthony Lawrence, Dorothy Hewett, Robert Adamson, Mike Williams, Jan
Teagle-Kapetas, stacks and stacks of others, and the latest Morgan Yasbincek
(WA poet) - 'Night Reversing' deep, lyrical and personal. I read them all
the time to enhance my own work.
John you might like to take a look at this site that is hugely promoting
emerging WA poets, as well as doing a fantastic job promoting the Peter
Cowan Writers Centre, ECU Joondalup
http://www.aceonline.com.au/~db/
I believe the internet is *uniting* poets and of course, where would we be
without poetryetc. we do appreciate having it and thank you for that!
