While I won't lift my eyebrows at Jeffrey's accusations of homophobia
(and Debrute is yes a nasty example of homophobia AND misogyny- these
reflexes are often deeply linked, though there are various
complexities) I am surprised by his accusations of it being a
dominant theme on this list.
This list is unmoderated, which means a variousness of viewpoints,
including some the listowners deeply disagree with (we are also most
definitely not monolithic), are aired here. That's fine - up to a
point, as the guidelines make clear.
