Dear all in the online O R Community
I am looking for volunteers.
90 per cent of the readers will stop here.
For those who read on...
International Abstracts in OR tries to collect abstracts from as much of the
world-wide literature on O R as possible. As more and more journals
proliferate, the task becomes steadily harder, particularly in the area of
application of OR.
I wonder if there are people who read ORNET who might be able to help, by
sending in abstracts from journals that they find relevant to the OR that
they do As examples, we lack proper coverage of O R applications in
agriculture and finance (the new journal Quantitative Finance hits the
newstands in the near future, and the flyer looks as if a fraction of the
papers will be of interest to a wider O R community).
There are few rewards on offer except for that warm glow that you are
contributing to the knowledge base of the O R community.
If you are interested, please let me know, and we can work out the mechanics
and details mutually.
I look forward to a rush of responses
David Smith
