BIOH AUTUMN CONFERENCE
'HOT TOPICS' in Occupational Hygiene
22 November 2001, UMIST, Manchester
Too many new regulations; all those EU directives. There's a plethora of
new domestic and European legislation coming in the near future. We have
the prospect of the new COSHH Regulations, the new duty to manage
asbestos, a new exposure limit system, new environmental legislation on
solvents, new regulations on vibration, changes to the Noise at Work
regulations and much more. How can you keep track of all these new
changes. Well come to the 2001 BIOH Seminar - HOT TOPICS in Occupational
Hygiene - and in one day receive an update on all this and much much
more.
There will be presentations on the above as well as the new HSE
initiative, Revitalising Health and Safety, the latest on
musculoskeletal disorders, an international perspective from the WHO,
the proposed new EU chemicals strategy, the latest in dermal exposure
assessment as well as a look at how we need to cater for an ageing
workforce.
A not to be missed seminar. In one day you can bring yourself up to
speed on these numerous developments. As an added bonus, there will be
handouts of all the slides so you don't even have to bring a pen. The
seminar will be followed by the AGM (BIOH members only). There will be
an evening drinks reception and dinner.
Make a note in your diary!
