I am working within a group called low-fi. our main focus is developing a
project called the low-fi locator which is a system for locating net art. we are
using the term quite loosely in order to indicate that we privilege concepts
over technological virtuosity. Technical complexity and sophistication would
need to be used essentially because it is the only way to realise a particular
idea rather superfluously or as decoration.
the locator is still in development phase and a bit raw and buggy but we will be
launching it soon to this and other lists for input and testing.
