POSTDOC POSITIONS AT NORTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY
I have one or more postdoc positions available in my group at Northwestern
University. My group is involved in a broad spectrum of theory research
which currently includes studies of nanoparticle structural and optical
properties, studies of DNA structures, melting and electrophoresis, O atom
collisions with polymers, work on thin film formation using dip-pen
nanolithography, and state to state chemistry in gas phase reactions. The
positions I want to fill could potentially be in any of these areas,
depending on the interests of applicants, and on needs within my group. My
group is heavily involved in collaborations with experimental groups at
Northwestern and elsewhere, so this would be a great opportunity for
someone interested in close collaboration with ongoing experimental
efforts. In addition, there is significant interaction with Mark Ratner's
theory group. More information can be found at
www.chem.nwu.edu/~schatz. If you are interested in a position, please
contact me at my email address, or by mail to Prof. George C.
Schatz, Department of Chemistry, Northwestern University, Evanston IL
60208-3113.
