RESEARCH ASSOCIATE: REAL TIME CONTROL FOR THE PROCESSING OF ATMOSPHERIC PRESSURE GAS STREAMS USING NON-THERMAL PLASMAS (Ref. 075/01)
This EPSRC funded project is to develop and demonstrate computer-based methods utilising feedback control for the automatic operation of non-thermal atmospheric pressure plasma systems for the remediation of polluted gas streams.
Applications are invited from Ph.D. scientists (or those about to complete their Ph.D.) with experience in the writing of control software (especially using LabView), computer-based modelling or process engineering. The position will be available from 1 April 2001. The appointment will be for one year in the first instance with possible renewal for a further two years. Starting salary in the range £16,775 - £18,731 per annum.
