You may remember a few months ago when I started an exercise to identify the remaining mine headgears and engines in the UK. Sadly since that time we have lost 2 more as I am told that the ones at Annesley Colliery have now been demolished.
I have now decided to spend a bit more time on making the two lists more complete and user friendly so people can visit them if they require. To this end, I need grid references and I would be grateful if you could all check the two lists below and let me [...]51_21Jan200102:06:[log in to unmask]
