MATERNITY EXPERIENCES OF ASYLUM SEEKERS
AND REFUGEES
Jenny McLeish of Maternity Alliance
will present the results of recent qualitative research about the
experiences of asylum seekers and refugees who have had a
baby in England. It will include their very mixed experiences of
maternity care, and the impact of living with vouchers and the
dispersal system on their lives both in pregnancy and with a
newborn baby.
