£17,034 To £20,399 Inclusive
Jointly funded by Whipps Cross University Hospital Trust and the North
East
London Workforce Development Confederation, this innovative post
combines a
number of complementary research and library functions, including:
maintaining data support systems; helping to facilitate clinicians’ use
of
research- derived evidence and enabling them to undertake research of
their
own.
The post offers the opportunity for someone to become involved in
supporting Research and Development within a large acute Trust and to
work
in the busy multi-disciplinary library.
Both parts of the role require the postholder to maintain information,
both
in paper and electronic formats, support processes for research projects
being developed and approved and support to individual clinical staff.
The successful candidate will be a graduate with experience of doing
research and possibly with a library / information studies
qualification.
They will enjoy working as part of a team, having a varied workload and
supporting clinical staff in improving healthcare. Training in specific
areas will be available for the successful candidate.
