EAST ANGLIA'S CHILDREN'S HOSPICES
Unique opportunity for Qualified Librarian
Based at Milton, Cambridge
Secondment or short-term contract (equivalent 3 months full time)
£18,000 - £24,000 pro-rata
East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH) is a charity providing care for
life limited children and their families. EACH is seeking to become a leader
in paediatric palliative care and we now have hospices in Cambridgeshire,
Norfolk and Suffolk. We have recently opened a new Education, Training and
Research Centre at our Milton hospice, and are in the process of developing
its Library. The Library will hold a specialist collection for Paediatric
Palliative Care and a 'family collection' for children, young people and
their families who use our services.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Librarian with contemporary library and
IT skills to work with the Head of Education to set the Library up and
assess ongoing Librarian input required.
If you wish to receive details and an application form for this innovative
project please contact Kate Ross or Janet Green on 01223 860306 during
office hours (email <mailto:[log in to unmask]> [log in to unmask]).
Or write to EACH, Church Lane, Milton, Cambridge CB4 6AB. Closing date 30th
November 2001. Interviews 14th December 2001.
For informal enquiries please contact: Janet Doyle, Head of Education,
Training & Research on 01223 860306 (email [log in to unmask]).
