Where are e-books heading? What are the issues for librarians considering e-books services? What kind of hardware, and software choices are open for reading e-books? This seminar brings together an overview of current developments along with speakers actively engaged in promoting e-book technology and ideas.

The Venue
The meeting will be held in the Meeting room S101/S102 on the first floor of the South Tower at the Kedleston Road Site of the University of Derby. The room seats up to 45 delegates and has full disabled access.
The Kedleston Road Site of the University is located on the Western edge of the city of Derby, close to the A38 and the A52. Within 25 minutes of the M1 and the A50. If you are coming by car, please indicate this on the form below and the Gatehouse require advance notice. Alternatively take the No.6 Unibus from the railway station which runs every ten minutes, the journey takes 20 minutes from Derby Railway Station.

This meeting is FREE to members of the East Midlands Section of the UC&R Group of the Library Association.
However should Section members and other attendees cancel with less than 3 working days notice, they will be liable for the full payment of £10 + VAT . Due to limited space there will be a maximim of 4 places per organisation. Additional places requested will be placed on a waiting list.
