Dear All,
*Apologies for cross posting*
I have a contact in an information centre in Amsterdam who would like
suggestions for good basic librarianship books suitable for people running
information centres and libraries in developing countries, covering basic
routines and procedures. The books she knows about are in Dutch.
She is interested in recent English language books. They can be from the
UK or anywhere else. If they are specifically about health librarianship,
all the better, but general books would be good too.
She does not need copies of the books themselves, but information to help
her identify useful books.
Are there any books you have found useful, or use in training?
Please send me any details and I will forward to her. If you are
interested in knowing the results of this query, please let me know and I
can summarise for these lists.
Best wishes from the north east,
Keith Nockels
