skills and techniques you need to be aware of to ensure your information
service customers are treated with the care they need, to make them return
to you for help again and again. This important competence is a major
requirement of information and knowledge work in the 21st century, not only
involving caring for information service users, but also dealing with
colleagues in other support areas such as technology or human resources, to
whom information staff are often customers too.
