EMPOWERING LEARNERS: libraries and cross-sectoral partnerships
CPI Library and Information Policy Seminar, Stamford, Weds 3 October 2001
This seminar will examine the lifelong learning scene following 'Empowering
the Learning Community', with particular reference to public library
partnerships with the academic sectors. Key recent developments include the
Learning and Skills Councils, local learning partnerships, the growth of
local access agreements, and the potential for sustained collaboration
between the HE/FE/PL sectors.

forward the Government's response to 'Empowering'.
