WorldCat shows several works by Harry A. Hopf published as by
"H.A. Hopf and Company" (or variations) in New York city in the
1930s, and a couple of later items published by "Hopf Institute of
Management," in Ossining, NY, between 1945 and 1949. There's
also one (a reprint issued by General Electric Co. as late as 1953,
with no place apparently listed on the piece.
I assume the Hopf Library would have been the library of said Hopf
Institute of Management in Ossining NY. Don't know what happened
to it the last half century, but perhaps someone at Ossining Public
would know:
http://www.wls.lib.ny.us/libs/ossining/ossining.html
or the Ossining Historical Society:
http://home.att.net/~ohsm/index.htm
On the other hand, New York University has long offered a Harry Hopf
Fellowship for Outstanding Students of Management:
http://firms.findlaw.com/kazb/affiliate15.htm
through their Stern School of Business:
http://www.stern.nyu.edu/mba/finaid/donor.html
http://www.stern.nyu.edu/
and this appears to be Stern's business library
http://www.nyu.edu/library/bobst/
So maybe someone there knows more and could Hopf to it for you...
