Hi everybody,
It's been a long time (I think) since the list had a discussion about charging
for inter-library loans and document supply so it's high time we resurrected it!
We haven't raised our charges, or changed the way we charge, in 5 years so we
are about to review everything. I would be interested to hear what other
institutions do. In particular the following:-
How much do you charge per request?
Do you charge everyone or only certain categories of requester?
Are the number of requests limited in any other way (e.g. allocations,
counter-signatures)?
If you have any other comments or systems that you think work particularly well
I would love to hear your ideas.
Thanks in anticipation
Chris
