The Help for Health Trust was established in 1979, and is at the forefront
of international developments in consumer health information services. NHS
Direct Online and the Centre for Health Information Quality (C-H-i-Q), are
two of the national services based here. C-H-i-Q is "a clearing house on
all aspects of patient information, providing practical advice to the NHS
and others on the production of good quality information for patients." (NHS
Executive).

ACCREDITATION MANAGER
c. £25,000 p.a.
12 Months fixed-term contract, initially
We need a highly motivated and experienced project manager, to contribute
significantly to the development of appraisal and accreditation services
during piloting of Digital TV services for the NHS. With a strong NHS or
public health background and a sound understanding of knowledge management
issues, the successful candidate will receive training from C-H-i-Q in
Health Information Appraisal.
ADMINISTRATOR
c. £17,500
12 Months fixed-term contract, initially
We need a highly motivated and experienced administrator to support
C-H-i-Q's Accreditation team. This team is developing appraisal and
accreditation services during the piloting phase of Digital TV services for
the NHS. The post-holder will have excellent interpersonal and good IT
skills, particularly in MS Office.
The appointments will be for 12 months in the first instance. The
post-holders will be based at the Trust headquarters in Winchester, an
hour's train journey from London Waterloo station.
