LECTURESHIP IN GEOPHYSICS
Initial salary within the range £17,451 - £32,215 pa
The University is expanding its geophysics teaching and research and
applications are invited for this post, available from 1 August 2002. The
Department is nationally graded as excellent for research and teaching in
Geology, Geophysics and Oceanography. The post would enhance an already
strong team of 6 geophysicists within an Earth Science Department of 27
academic staff. You should have a proven research track record and be able
to contribute to all levels of undergraduate geophysics teaching. You
should develop new research areas in either, geodynamics, geomagnetism,
rock physics, seismology or space-based geodesy, or complement our existing
core research activities in Earth Sciences.
