INTERNATIONAL CATHOLIC MIGRATION COMMISSION
TRAINER / PROGRAM MANAGER
Victim Protection Program for Trafficked Women and
Girls
MONTENEGRO - YUGOSLAVIA
The International Catholic Migration Commission
(ICMC), a Geneva-based international humanitarian
organization specializing in services to refugees,
returnees, the displaced, and migrants, is seeking a
Trainer/Program Manager to lead ICMC’s training
program on Victim Protection for Trafficked Women and
Girls. The position is based in Podgorica, Montenegro
but will travel frequently to all regions of
Montenegro.
Responsibilities include:
 Participate in a team of local and
international NGOs addressing trafficking issues in
Montenegro
 Train targeted Montenegrin NGOs in sound
management principles and practices – specifically as
they relate to implementing programs for the
protection of trafficked women and girls
 Facilitate trainings to representatives of
the private and public sectors throughout Montenegro
on victim identification and advocacy
 Perform an ongoing evaluation of program
design and recommend refinements/modifications
accordingly.
 Coordinate with similar ICMC programs in the
region
 Represent the organization professionally
 Comply with internal reporting structures
 Provide financial oversight and reports
Requirements:
 University degree in women’s studies, social
services, international management, migrant/refugee
studies or other relevant field
 Experience in designing and implementing
local capacity building training programs using
participatory methodologies
 Experience working with trafficked women and
children
 Experience in program development, design,
implementation and evaluation
 A minimum of 2 years of overseas working
experience
 Excellent writing and negotiation skills
 Fluency in English
 Serbian/Montenegrin language skills
(preferred)
 Ability to work collaboratively with
international and local organizations
 Ability to live and work in politically
sensitive conditions
