Hi Gary,
A good reference is discussion by Ghionna, Jamiolkowski, & Pasqualini
(1981, Geot. 31, No. 4, 574-577) in that DR affects the unloading portion
of OC sands. For NC sands, Feda (1984, ASCE JGE 110, No. 4, 519-524)
relate KoNC to porosity (n), alias "DR".
Regards
Paul
