IST PROGRAMME CALLS

                       7th IST Call to be published in June -
PRE-INFORMATION

                       FIXED DEADLINE CALLS - CONTINUOUS SUBMISSION
                                SCHEMES - GRANT APPLICATIONS

                   Please note that the 7th IST Call, which was expected
to be launched on 15 June 2001 has been postponed. The closing date of
the fixed deadline call remains 17 October 2001.
