I wonder if it would be possible to distribute copies of the
attached paper call at your conference? The possibility of overlapping
interests seems self-evident, and I would like to solicit contributions from
scholars outside the United States if possible.
I apologize that at present I am not sure where the 2002 MLA will be
held - the voice of common wisdom suggests New York, but the organizers have
not yet confirmed the location. Anyone interested may contact me for
further particulars.
