Dear mailbase subscribers,
We are currently searching for reviewers of a number of new books. They
are as follows (to preserve anonymity and integrity of review process,
neither title nor author/s or editor/s are revealed at this point):
1) An edited book about the African Diaspora
2) An edited volume about Caribbean Migration to New York City
3) An edited volume about Santeria in Africa and the Americas
4) An edited book about religion, identity and culture in the Caribbean
5) A book about the global black diaspora
6) An edited volume about the history of literature in the Dutch- and
English-speaking Caribbean (600+ pages!)
We are also searching reviewers for two manuscripts:
a) "Reggae's Rasta Resurgence"
b) "Neurolinguistic Insights from Derek Walcott's Omeros" (ideally,
this should be somebody who has combined expertise of literature and
neurolinguistics - recommendations are also appreciated!)
There is no immediate deadline for the book reviews. However, we expect
the review in a reasonable time-frame. The manuscripts should be
reviewed as soon as possible, but not later than January 5, 2002.
Please respond directly to <[log in to unmask]>.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours sincerely,
Holger Henke
