Well I'm off to Amsterdam tomorrow  for a week
just so David B can at long last accuse me of
being on holiday and he'll be right (oh happy days).
I'm hoping there will be some kind of peace vigil
over there.  The North Sea is very restless
will shall arrive green as tulip stalks but I welcome
a tussle with nature-nature as opposed to human-
nature as a diversion.
There  was planned, for this weekend,
some kind of Arabic music and culture festival.
Hope its not cancelled.  We need to open not
close.

Anyway as a kind of life-goes-on-at-the-moment
sort of way and demonstration of how my mind
has got so mixed up and jumbled over the last
week it is hereby demonstrated as follows:
Talking about (what else) P.M  Blair's
shoulder-to-shoulder-with-anybody-that-will-give
us-money policey  I mentioned the Lib-dems
and said  'Well here's an opportunity for David
Kennedy'   mmmm?  But it gets worse...tonight
I was spouting fears about the Tory leader's
appointment of totally right wing xenophobic
m.ps with no nod or acknowledgements to
Ken Clark's 49% polling and said 'This Ken
Smith bloke is really scary..'

So am I unconsciously wish-thinking poets into
all key political posts or am I so exhausted with
the weeks events that I've gone ga-ga?

pps Is Harriet Zinnes o.k?  She (you) used to be
on this mailbase. Has anyone got her email I'd
like to drop her a line.  I used to have it and its
disappeared - as has my old friend John
Temple's and others.  I haven't deleted them
so why aren't they there?  Technology - baah!
