I agree with both. As to the typo version, I think it's very important not
to write what one knows how to write. As to the true and accurate version,
I think it's equally important only to write those events that come in the
form of words. Given time everything and everyone that one cares about tens
to get their due anyway.
Needless to say, this approach takes a lot of years of doing it the other
way first, getting one's chops.
