A small point about a) - the jisc mail archives can also be searched.
The Bb discussions can only be searched within each thread - so if you
aren't sure where the answer will be this is yet another problem. Whilst
I am on this point - why doesn't Bb let you search within a courses
contents!!!
It would be good if out of the discussions some key questions (faqs)
could be extracted so as to provide a starting point for people who have
a problem? another thing would be to maintain some sort of wish list -
like the one from the previous usergroup meeting - that can be added to
and maybe rated (most anoying/pressing) - so newcomers can avoid asking
about or reporting a frustrating 'feature' that everyone is already
aware of. The creation and maintenance of such documents is obviously
time consuming - but well worth it for those who benefit :)
Can we start a poll on the Bb site for most frustrating limitation of
Bb?
Was a wish list created at the recent meeting?
I would be happy to join the working party - if volunteers are being
sought?
best wishes,
ben
