Ben
I agree - it would be extremely useful to be able to create folders in the
dropbox and this is something which was included in the wish list which
various members of the group devised after our meeting at Hull earlier this
year. As far as I am aware there is currently no method of structuring
files in either the instructor's or student's dropbox, though I wouldn't
have thought it would be too difficult to import the "Add Folder" button
from some of the other screens in the system and translate it to the
dropbox.
Hopefully Bb will take this on board for version 6.

Subject: drop-box control
Is anyone aware of a way of separating or sorting the files in the
digital drop box?
Student files get listed by time of arrival mixed up with any staff
files which may have been stored there. I imagine this could lead to all
sorts of problems. The main problem is not being able to identify which
work is for which member of staff (we have multiple units/modules using
the same course site). It would be really good if you can provide
different folders for students to upload into or at least a better way
of sorting the contents of the drop box.
cheers, ben
