Tuesday 11 September Biomedical Information on the Internet £175 + VAT
Everyone working in the broad fields of biomedicine and health care will
benefit from this interactive workshop. The courses's unique combination of

Tuesday 2 October Sources of Health Care Information £175 + VAT
The course is designed to introduce researchers to a wide range of UK
national health care sources. Topics covered include: UK medical/health
care administration and policy, consumer health care information,clinical
medicine,eveidence based medicine,nursing information and using the
Internet to find medical information.
Tuesday 16 October Making the Most of Medline £175 + VAT
MEDLINE is the most commonly used online index to medical information. This
National Library of Medicine (USA) database helps researchers find
information on medical and life sciences journals around the world.
This intensive course provides instruction on how to understand the
indexing and how to search to get the results you want.
There will be guided hands-on practice and a full set of course notes.
Tuesday 6 November Making the transition: Converting to PubMed and Internet
Grateful Med £175 + VAT
This intensive course takes delegates through the National Library of
Medicine databases using PUBMED and INTERNET GRATEFUL MED specialist front-
end software providing assisted searching. The hands-on workshop gives
delegates the most effective search strategies and the opportunity to
construct their own searches. There will be ample guided hands-on training
and a full set of course notes will be provided.
