Hello all,
quite a lot of people have been asking me for the answer to the
date subtraction question I posed earlier, so I thought I'd just e-mail
the answer to the whole list. There were a variety of different ways
of doing this but the easiest way (for my purposes) seemed to be
compute column A - cloumn B. This gives you the length of time
between the two dates in seconds. To get the answer in years,
simply divide the answer by 31556736. This number is reached by
multiplying 60 (seconds to minutes) by 60 (minutes to hours) by 24
(hours to days) by 365.25 (days to years, with a rough add-on to
account for leap years).
Hope this is useful.
Regards,
Brian
