I couldn't agree more. We came across a few very dodgy-looking tests (and
laboratories) when looking into some of the things available on the "open
market" a while back. Evidence-based medicine hardly features. Know what you
are recommending before getting involved in this.

We have had a recent enquiry from parents of an autistic child via their GP
and got details from Sunderland today. I know very little about the tests
they offer and there is a charge of £50 apparently. Have a word with him.
