Does anyone have experience of using automated booking and logging-on
systems for internet terminals? With a large increase in the number of
internet terminals expected next year, once CALL money is released, but
without any increase in staffing, we are looking for ways to minimise staff
time spent on associated admin. An automated booking system might be one
solution.
If any libraries are already using such a system, how do you then deal with
getting users to be aware of/sign acceptable use policies, assuming you
don't actually speak to the users face to face?
Any comments & suggestion of suitable systems welcomed.
