This is a request for information and/or guidance. I'm a performance
studies specialist with - unfortunaterly - no German.
As part of my current research into theatrical amateurism and the
uses of drama in Britain between the wars, I'm interested in the
anglophile Rudolf Kircher - principally because of his 'Fair Play. The
Games of Merrie England' (Collins, 1928). BL has one other of his
books - a translation of 'Englaender' - but I very much want to
access literary biographical details, to get a good picture of the
development of his ideas and practice, especially in relation to
political and cultural movements.
I'd appreciate any advice you might be able to give, including
perhaps key resources that I could get translated or scanned by a
german speaker.
Many thanks.
