There is a reference to Florilegus in
Sir Thomas Browne (1646; 6th ed., 1672), Pseudodoxia Epidemica VII:xvii

Subject: Florilegus
Dear all -
Does anyone recognise Florilegus as the name of a person (as I
presume), to whom William Camden refers as a source in his
Britannia (1695 edn, p.505)?
There's no entry for Florilegus in Antonia Gransden's two-volume
Historical Writing in England, nor in Gross's The Sources and
Literature of English History. I can't think of anywhere else to look
and so I'd be most grateful if anyone can point me in the right
direction.
Thanks
Steve Bassett
