On Friday afternoon the Henry George Foundation lent me a CD with the O.S.
6-inch maps of Huntingdonshire on it. On Saturday afternoon it was stolen
from my bag in the British Library cloakroom between 15:00 and 16:45 so I
never got to see it. THe HGF are uncertain as to how they came to have it -
as far as we can gather it was a promotional CD, but I know not in what
context. Does anyone on the list a) know the context b) have a spare disk?
A warning - despite the room having CCTV + videotape the BL Security people
were less than helpful and claim that nothing could be seen. What can you
do? Anything for a quiet life.
yours in hope
John Lock
