Dear All,
Could anyone recommend a, preferable freeware or shareware, fuzzy
search product to help circumvent the need for OCR correction ?
If a commercial product is the only option, we'd be prepared to
look at this too. For instance, it looks like http://www.zylab.com/
software would do the job, but I suspect it's expensive !
The type of fuzzy search I think we're talking about here is being
able to select 1,2,3,4 etc. allowable spelling mistakes at any point
within a word (not just stems/endings). This appears to rule out
ht:\\dig (www.htdig.org) which someone has already recommended.
Comments / experiences relating to this type of software also
welcomed.
Best wishes,
Simon B.
