This is just some more detailed information about the London reading
with Emine Sevgi Özdamar on 16 October.
This bi-lingual reading begins at 7.30pm and takes place at the Barbican
Library (not at the South Bank), Barbican Centre, Silk Street, London
EC2Y.
Tickets: £4 (£2 concs).
Box Office: 020 7638 8891
Emine Özdamar reads from her novel Life is a Caravanserai (translated by
Luise von Flotow). The event will be introduced by Maureen Freely,
freelance journalist and author of two works of non-fiction as well as
five novels, who will also chair a discussion with the German-Turkish
author. While Emine Özdamar will read German excerpts of her novel, her
translator Luise von Flotow will read from the English translation.
