Sections of a post from Dr Mel C Siff
** Barrett Dorko in an earlier mail commented on his gratitude to this
group and how it has become an integral part of his professional life.
I fully agree - thanks, Heather!
** If only some of the students who periodically appear here for some
ephemeral help at project submission time would also realise this fact
and decide to stay with all of us for a lot longer!
Well Dr Siff, I'm one of those students that you are so despartely
keen to have around (if I interpreted you correctly that is...). I
found out about this list from Curtin's physio web-site (however I had
to go searching to find it), and joined the list not with the aim of
finding help for an assignment. In fact, I am yet to ask a question
concerning any work I have to submit, only questions of interest which
I feel I may get a better (or more varied) explanation here than if I
were to ask my lecturers. I feel this list has been amazingly
interesting and insightful. So I'm one who will definately be sticking
around!!
By the way, do you have an answer for me yet concerning steriods
affecting the diaphragm, and some patients with CAL (demonstrating
more CB signs that emphysematic) having steriods administered to them?
Ta,
Luke Harris,
2nd year PT (Curtin).
