Dear List Members,
I am putting the final touches on the translation of _Tristano
panciatichiano_, an edition w/facing-page English which will be published
by Boydell.
There is one phrase which I have not been able to find in any dictionary or
etymological work. A knight is unhorsed and badly so wounded in his chest
that "se li parrà di questi sette dì."
This phrase is NOT in the French edition of _Le Roman de Tristan en prose_.
Can anyone suggest a possible meaning/ English equivalent?
Thank you,
Gloria Allaire
