The East Yorkshire Learning Disability Institute, at the
University of Hull, and SCOPE are hosting a series of
seminars based on the findings of a research project
identifying the unmet needs of physically disabled people
living in the Yorkshire and Humber region. There will be
guest speakers at the seminars, and opportunities for
disabled people and service providers to address current
issues. Assistance with transport and other requirements is
available to disabled people who would not otherwise be
able to attend.
The seminars are as follows:
1.North and north East Lincolnshire - 25th Oct- Reeds
Hotel, Barton Upon Humber
2. Harrogate - 26th Oct- Christchurch Parish Centre
3. Wakefield - 31st October - Traecy Hall Wakefield
Cathedral
4. Sheffield and Rotherham - 1st November - National Centre
for Popular Music in Sheffield
5. Leeds - 3rd November - Village Hotel
All seminars start at around 10 a.m. and finsh around 3 p.m
