Dear Spenserians,
I'm glad to announce that two new bibliographical aids are now available on
the Edmund Spenser Home Page, both the work of Willy Maley:
*Spenser and Ireland: A Select Bibliography
(having first appeared in Spenser Studies, vol. ix (1991), pp. 227-242; now
newly corrected and updated)
*Spenser in Ireland: An Annotated Bibliography, 1986-1996
(having first appeared in Spenser in Ireland: 'The Faerie Queene',
1596-1996 in The Irish University Review, 26/2 (Autumn/Winter 1996),
special issue ed. Anne Fogarty, pp. 342-353)
Both bibliographies can be accessed via the 'Critical Bibliography' section
of the Spenser Home Page,

Thanks to Willy for providing the texts; I hope they prove useful!
[You may notice, on your way through, that the arrival of the full bulk of
the long-promised Spenser Critical Bibliography is now nearing imminence; I
know the proposed method of its delivery to some will seem displeasant,
which had rather have their bibliographies supplied all in a piece instead
of in these fitful dribs and drabs; I can plead only the usual: fatigue,
bewilderment]
Thanks,
Andrew Zurcher
