Dear Colleagues -
I have been asked by a friend on behalf of his Swiss friend to find out
whether a quotation he believed was of Kipling is so, and where it occurs.
The difficulty is that Herr Koenig remembers it in German and so the
translation back into English might be a little wide of the mark.
It is :- "I don't think a man has ever lived a good life, if he has not
been changed for the better by a loving wife, if he has not been
strengthened by her courage and the wisdom of her heart."
Any help most gratefully accepted - Michael Smith
