Some time ago, there was a question about the availability of an English
translation of Thomas of Celano's Vita prima (or even the so-called Vita
secunda). Someone directed the questioner to the new translations
available now in the Francis of Assisi: Early Documents (but the questioner
was hoping not to have students have to invest in such a larger collection
of sources when the question was really only Celano).
Coincidentally, I happened to see on the bookshelf in the bookstore of the
Basilica of San Francesco in Assisi a volume published several years ago of
an English translation of Celano's works by a certain Catherine (or
Katherine) Bolton several years ago. If memory serves me correctly, the
publication place was Santa Maria degli Angeli but the publisher was not
(directly at least) Edizioni Porziuncola. Perhaps a search of the
translator name might yield the precise volume...
