During a research project in a related area the digital imaging consultant
with whom I was working selected a Nikon Coolpix 950 after a prolonged
investigation of the available cameras. This choice was confirmed in a
second, independent assessment two months ago.
Having said that the Coolpix 950 gives you a very sophisticated and
versatile camera (at around £800) but takes practice and enthusiasm to use
to its full potential. An often more relevant set of considerations are
robustness, ease of use and ease of download. In the latter category the
Sony Malvica has a lot to be said for it since it stores images directly
onto floppy discs that can be passed around or easily loaded onto any PC.
The Malvica is a bit bigger as a result, but this has the added bonus of
making it harder to nick!

Subject: Digital Cameras
Sorry if this has been covered before!
Can any one recommend a digital camera (make/model) for teaching/follow up?
Budget around £800.
Has the group discussed pre-hospital digital photography before? If not, who
uses digital photography? Any interesting uses?!!!
